White Sage is probably one of the strongest smudging herbs available. White Sage is excellent for cleansing. The Native Americans have smudged White Sage to clear negative unwanted energy as smudging cleanses, rebalances and renews energy for a person, their property or their room or dwelling. The idea of purification through smoke is certainly not the sole preserve of the Native North Americans. Smudging has been a traditional and successful ritual and ceremonial practice used by many cultures around the world.
